Let me ask you a question, what's your favorite season? The majority of the people say summer, but I've already talked about how I hate summer the most.

So my preference between monsoon and winter? Monsoon.

Even though I love winter too, nothing beats the monsoon. See the comparison right here,

I know the first one is most tempting to the majority of you, diving into the pool in your bikini and shorts, but nothing could beat the love I have for monsoon.

Why I love monsoons so much:

The beautiful soul lingering scent of wet mud. It's so refreshing and calming. As the rain pats against my window, I very much love to sit beside it with a mug of hot coffee and my favorite book. Away from all the chaos. It's a perfect escape from reality for me.

When it rains at night, I always open my window and let the light drizzle in, along with light cold zephyrs and binge-read books, or simply lay on the bed, awake and listening to the rain splashing against the ground and roof. Nothing can beat its calmness. It's like I'm in a different world entirely.

Why winter is my second favorite:

Well obviously because it's winter. I get to lay in my bed, wrapped around in my fluffy blanket, and sleep in all day. It's so cozy and since my laptop is my work buddy, I don't need to worry much about that. Unfortunately, where I live, it doesn't snow, but the temperature does fall down 2–3 degrees Celsius, rarely in minus.

The only thing that I don't like about winter is that I get sick easily. It's true, wintertime means cold and fever time for me. Other than that, I love winter too.

Here in India, we experience only these three seasons, but I'm aware that there are five seasons in some countries and I would very much love to learn about that.

So what's your favorite season and why you love it the most, let me know in the comments.
